This website is operated by Sinostar-ITE International Limited (Hereafter referred to as “The Organizer / We / Our / Us”), who is the Organizer of CHINACOAT series of exhibition.

This page sets out the Terms of Use (“Terms”) on which you may make use of this Exhibition’s Online Platform (The “Site” / “Website” / “Show”). As a user of the Site (Hereafter referred to as “You / Your”), please read these Terms carefully before you start browsing the Site. By using the Site, you indicate that you accept these Terms and that you agree to abide by them.

We may revise these Terms at any time, without notice, by amending this page (and any documents referred to on it). You are advised to check this page from time to time to take notices of any changes we may make, as they are binding on you as soon as we make them. Some of the provisions contained in these Terms may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the Site.

We may, in our sole discretion and at any time, without notice to you, add to, amend, or remove any information from the Website, or alter the presentations, contents or functionalities of the Website.

We may amend the Terms of Use from time to time in our sole discretion without notice or liability to you. By continuing to use the Exhibition’s Online Platform following such amendments to the Terms of Use, we assume you agree to be bound by such amendments.

3. Accessing the Exhibition’s Online Platform

Access to the Exhibition’s Online Platform is provided on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to terminate the Site or amend any service we provide on the Site without notice. We will not be liable if, for any reason, the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

You are also responsible for ensuring all persons who access the Exhibition’s Online Platform through your Internet connection are aware of these Terms and that they comply with them. You agree not to damage, interfere with or disrupt access to the Site, or do anything which may interrupt or impair its functionality.

4. Third Party Information

Anything on the Exhibition’s Online Platform may contain information provided by Third Party Providers, such as Exhibitors, Speakers invited by the Organizer, etc. Any such information provided may not be regarded as any recommendation or endorsement by the Organizer for any purpose with respect to any person, product or service.

The Organizer is not responsible if any such information is not up-to-date. We do not actively or separately verify such information. We do not accept any responsibility whatsoever in respect of such information. Any use of and reliance on such information is solely at your own risk.

5. Third Party Links

The Exhibition’s Online Platform contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of any information provided by these linked websites.

6. User’s Conduct

As a condition of your use of the Exhibition’s Online Platform, you must not:

a. Alter, add to, delete, remove or tamper with the Exhibition’s Online Platform or any part of it or indirectly disrupt or interfere (or attempt to disrupt or interfere) with or alter the Site;

b. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Exhibition’s Online Platform, the server on which the Site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to the Site;

c. Post or transmit any Information or software which contains any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs or other harmful components;

d. Use the Exhibition’s Online Platform in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Site or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Site;

e. Use the Exhibition’s Online Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any manner prohibited that may constitute a criminal offense.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

We are the owner or the licensee of all copyrights, trademarks, design rights, database rights, confidential information or any other Intellectual Property Rights in and on the Exhibition’s Online Platform. The Intellectual Property in and on the Site is protected by various related laws and treaties around the World. All rights are reserved to us.

8. Restricted Usage of Overall Site Content

You are permitted to print and download materials from the Exhibition’s Online Platform for your own use on the following basis:

a. No documents or related graphics on the Exhibition’s Online Platform are modified in any way;

b. No graphics on the Exhibition’s Online Platform are used separately from the corresponding texts; and

c. Our copyright and trademark notices and the permission given in these Terms must appear in all copies.

The use of any extract from the Exhibition’s Online Platform otherwise than in accordance with the above license provisions (for any purpose) is prohibited. If you breach any of the above license provisions, your permission to use the Exhibition’s Online Platform automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any printed or downloaded extracts from the Site.

The Exhibition’s Online Platform may not be reproduced or stored, as a whole or in part, in any other website, or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service, without our prior written permission. Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved. You agree not to adapt, alter or create any derivative works from any of the materials contained in the Exhibition’s Online Platform, or use such materials for any purpose other than for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Indemnity

We will not be liable for any loss, disruption or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful materials that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary materials due to your use of the Exhibition’s Online Platform or to your downloading of any materials posted on it or on any website linked to it. We recommend you take measures to protect the security of your computer, including, without limitation, installing anti-virus software on your computer.

10. Limited Liability and Warranty

All information available from time to time on the Exhibition’s Online Platform is for your general reference only. The Organizer does not accept any responsibility whatsoever in respect of such Information.

Your access to and use of our Exhibition’s Online Platform is at your sole risk and is provided “as is”. We and any third party (whether or not involved in creating, producing, maintaining or delivering the Exhibition’s Online Platform) hereby exclude any and all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to you or a third party including, without limitation, any:

a. Direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damage;

b. Loss of incomes, profits, goodwill, data, contracts or use of money, or

c. Loss or damage arising from or connected in any way to business interruption, and whether any of the foregoing are in tort, contract or otherwise in connection with the Exhibition’s Online Platform, including the use, inability to use or the results of use of the Site. We are not responsible for the contents of external websites. The Exhibition’s Online Platform may include links to external websites from time to time and when you access these links you may leave the Site. These links are provided for your convenience. External websites are not part of the Exhibition’s Online Platform and we do not endorse or accept any responsibility for the contents of external websites (nor the products or services on them), are not responsible for the availability of external websites and will not be liable in any way for any loss or damage which you may suffer by using external websites, including, without limitation, viruses that may infect computer equipment, software, data or other property. If you decide to access linked external websites you do so at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for: (i) Death or personal injury caused by negligence, or (ii) fraud.

11. Termination

We may, in our sole discretion and at any time, without prior notice to you and without cause, terminate all or any part of our Services to you and consequentially prohibit your right to access to the Services and / or the Website.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by the law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

Privacy Policy Statement

The Organizers of CHINACOAT and SFCHINA series of exhibitions (Hereafter referred to as “We”, “Us” and “Our”) take individuals’ privacy seriously. This Statement explains our policies and practices in more details, and applies to information collection and use including but not limited to while you are visiting and using our Exhibition’s Online Platforms.

We respect your privacy and we promise:

To implement computer, physical and procedural safeguards to protect the security and confidentiality of the personal data we collect;

To limit the personal data collected to the minimum amount required to provide services requested by you;

To permit only our properly trained, authorized employees to access personal data;

Not to disclose your personal data to external parties unless you have agreed, we are required by law or we have previously informed you.

Information Collection

In order to provide better services to you, we may, in the course of and in relation to the provision of our services or products, collect and process the following information about you:

Information (Such as your name, company name, company address, mobile number, email address, nature of business, etc. of your company) when you register with us, use our services, attend our activities or communicate with us;

In connection with an account sign-in facility, your login user name and password details;

The contents of any communications you send to us, for example, to report a problem or to submit queries, concerns or comments regarding to the Exhibition’s Online Platform or its online contents; or information you submitted via survey;

The provision of personal data by you is necessary in order for us to provide you with the requested services and for us to perform our contractual obligations (if any) to you. If you do not supply such data, we may be unable to provide the requested services.

We only retain personal data for so long as it is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose (Including any directly related purpose) for which data is or is to be used.

In addition, when you browse the Exhibition’s Online Platform, we will collect the basic technical information that your browser sends to the Exhibition’s Online Platform website, such as browser type and language, access time, address of the site from which you came to the website, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, or click stream data within our Platform (i.e. the actions taken in connection with our Exhibition’s Online Platform) etc. We collect such technical information during your visit to the Exhibition’s Online Platform through our automatic data collection tools, which may include cookies and other commonly used technologies. We collect such data solely for the purpose of improving the functionality of the Exhibition’s Online Platform. Further information on cookies is set out below.

Use of Information

a. Marketing

We may use your personal information to send you newsletters, offers or other marketing communications to keep you up to date with our news, events and products that may be of interest. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us and applicable data protection laws, you may have actively given us your consent (i.e. opted in) or we may be entitled to rely on your implied consent or legitimate interests to market to you. The opportunity to opt out of future marketing communications will always be provided and you have the right to amend your marketing preferences at any time (See Your Privacy Rights section).

We may share your details with third party partners. When this happens, a clear notice will be provided that gives you the opportunity to opt out or opt in to such sharing as required by applicable data protection laws. The third party partner’s use of your details will be in accordance with the notice provided and its privacy policy and is not covered by this Privacy Policy.

b. Mobile Applications and Website Analytics

We may combine visitor registration information or other information collected through tracking technologies with personally identifiable information to understand and analyse your online experiences and determine which events, products and / or services are likely to be of interest to you.

Where you consent to the use of your location data, certain mobile applications may use location data to assist you to navigate around events and bring exhibitors’ information to your attention whilst you are using our Exhibition’s Online Platform.

Our marketing related emails contain a single, campaign-unique “Web Beacon Pixel” to identify whether emails are opened and, combined with other technologies, to verify any clicks through to links within the emails. We may use this information collected for purposes including determining which emails are of more interest to you and to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the emails.

Disclosure

We will keep the personal data we hold confidential but may provide your personal data to:

Personnel, agents, advisers, auditors, contractors and service providers in connection with our operations or services;

Our offices in China, affiliates, business partners and other trade promotion organizations;

Persons to whom we are required to make disclosure under applicable laws in or outside Hong Kong SAR.

We may provide your personal data as required or permitted by laws to comply with summons, subpoena or similar legal processes or government requests, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is legally required or otherwise necessary to protect our rights and properties, or the rights, properties or safety of others, including but not limited to advisers, law enforcement, judicial and regulatory authorities in or outside Hong Kong SAR. We may also transfer your personal data to a third party that acquires all or part of our assets or shares, or that succeeds us in carrying on all or part of our business, whether by merger, acquisition, reorganization or otherwise.

Cookies

We use cookies to find out more about the use of our Exhibition’s Online Platform and user preferences to improve our services. We may provide summarized traffic data to exhibitors / sponsors. We note traffic, pages visited and time spent. We may link the information to you, so that you may receive information more suited to your interests.

Web browsers often allow you to erase existing cookies from your hard drive, block the use of cookies and / or be notified when cookies are encountered. If you elect to block these cookies, please note you may not be able to take full advantage of the features and functions of the Exhibition’s Online Platform. Cookies are necessary for some features of the website to work, e.g. to maintain continuity during a browser session.

Security

Personal data stored electronically are password-protected. Encryption technology is used on our secured web areas. Our Exhibition’s Online Platform’s systems are placed in restricted areas. We only permit authorized employees to access personal data. These employees are trained on our privacy policies.

Third Party Links

The Exhibition’s Online Platform contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these other linked websites and do not accept any liability in connection with their contents. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of each third party site linked from this website to determine its use of your personal information.

To keep up with changing legislation, best practices and changes in how we process personal information, we may revise this Privacy Policy at any time without notice by posting a revised version on this website directly. To stay up to date on any changes, please check back from time to time.

主办单位只在有必要的期间内为履行收集该等个人信息目的（包括任何直接相关的目的）保留个人资料。

此外，当您浏览展览会线上平台时，我们会收集您的浏览器发送至展览会线上平台的基本技术数据，如浏览器类型和语言、浏览时间、浏览展览会线上平台前刚到过的网站地址、IP地址或我们展览会线上平台的点击流数据（即在展览会线上平台上进行相关的操作）等。我们在您浏览展览会线上平台期间，通过我们的自动数据收集工具收集该等技术数据，其中可能包括 Cookies 和其他常用技术。我们收集该等技术数据的目的是改进展览会线上平台的功能。有关Cookie的更多信息，请留意下方所述。
